It's almost Shrove Tuesday and that means that it's a great time to make pancakes! But pancakes can be just as delicious when savoury rather than sweet and you can serve these savoury pancake recipes at lunch or dinner as well as breakfast! Breakfast is a no brainer time for pancakes. These bacon stuffed pancakes can go either sweet or savoury but at the very least the sweet version has a savoury component with the bacon that is stuffed in these light and fluffy pancakes! Pair them with maple syrup or scrambled eggs!
Hands up who always orders shallot pancakes at Chinese restaurants? Well these light, crispy and addictive shallot pancakes are super easy to make at home, use up any leftover green shallots and come with a little trick to make them beautifully layered!
One of my favourite things to make at home when I've got some extra vegetables that need using up is okonomiyaki. It's so delicious for dinner and if you've got kids then this is the best way for them to enjoy eating cabbage!

I saved something special for last. These crespelle are Italian crepes that are delicious buckwheat crepes filled with pumpkin and three cheeses and then smothered with a rich cheese sauce, mozzarella cheese, browned butter and sage! It's like a vegetarian cannelloni made with crepes rather than pasta!
