18 Cookies (I made Brookies using a Greens Brookie Mix I was sent)
250g/8.8ozs. butter, softened
125g/4ozs. caster sugar
75ml/2.5flozs. room temperature water
1/2 cup cocoa powder
5 Cashews per "paw"
Step 1 - Beat the butter and sugar on low speed for 3 minutes. Mix the water and cocoa powder and then add to the butter mixture and beat for 7 minutes or until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is silky in texture. It's important to not have any lumps in your icing.
Step 2 -Take a grass tip and fit it to a coupler (a coupler lets you use different decorating tips with the same bag of icing). At times you can get away with not using a coupler but I find that with the grass tip, because it is so fine, it gets clogged easily and you want to remove it and rinse it out and then replace it a few times and a coupler allows you to do this.
Step 3 -Fill the bag with frosting and pipe "hair" across the cookies making sure to add enough icing at one end so that you can affix the cashews to one end.
