These Halloween Pumpkin Patch Strawberries are a Pinterest idea that I saw and loved so much. They're orange white chocolate dipped strawberries on a bed of Oreo crumbs aka dirt with mint for the stems! It can be a bit painful to colour white chocolate as you need oil based colourings or powders so I used a pre-coloured chocolate. You can use orange candy melts but I wanted to use a better tasting quality chocolate so I used a Callebaut orange coloured chocolate.

Step 1 - Line a tray with parchment. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave and dip the strawberries in holding them by the calyxes. Place on the tray and repeat with the remaining strawberries. Allow to set and then dip the strawberries again the melted chocolate to ensure that the surface is smooth and that you've covered up the red part of the strawberry as much as possible.
Step 2 - Place some of the chocolate in a small piping bag and draw pumpkin stripes. Place the crumbled Oreos on a serving tray and spread out so that it resembles dirt. Place strawberry pumpkins on the dirt and intertwine mint leaves to look like pumpkin stems.
