I've got a delicious competition today for you Dear Reader involving some hard to find items. You may all be familiar with the French jam brand Bonne Maman. The gingham patterned French faceted jars are a staple in our house and the jars in particular get reused all the times to make my own jams and jellies. The brand was launched in 1971 after Andros company founder, Jean Gervoson realised that women worked out of home and didn't have time to make jams and jellies; however people still love home made style jams like what mum made. The name Bonne Maman means "Good Mother" and the jars were kept deliberately simple to reflect home made jams - the packaging hasn't changed in 40 years!
This year they created a uniquely Australian flavour using a native bushfood called Lilly Pilly pairing this naturally tart fruit with sweet blueberries! And thanks to the lovely people at Bonne Maman 10 very lucky Not Quite Nigella readers will get the chance to try the a very special gift pack of six jellies including the Blueberry and Lilly Pilly jam along with some flavours that you can't get in Australia: Pêche & Cassis (peach & blackcurrant), Reines Claudes (French plum), Prunes, Oranges en Tranches (orange slices) and Abricots et Pêches (apricot and peach)! These five flavours are only available in France!
Simply enter by leaving a comment telling me which flavour you like the sound of the best! Please leave your answer as a comment and you can enter once daily. The competition is open to anyone in Australia. The competition closes at Midnight AEST 16th of August, 2015!
