Yesterday was also my last day on the Lean Cuisine challenge. For lunch I tried the the Honey Mustard chicken with rice (335 calories) which wasn't too bad. The rice has improved from what I remember although I have to say that it isn't 100% the way I like rice. The sauce is quite good and there are a few pieces of chicken sliced thinly like sashimi. I supplemented this with baby spinach leaves but I must admit that I end up a little hungry after this.

For dinner I had the creamy mushroom tortellini. This tortellinis tend to look the best out of all the meals, I suppose because they can be stirred up and they're quite filling. At 400 calories, this is one of the higher calorie meals. The sauce reminded me of a tinned cream of mushroom soup which isn't really my cup of tea but it was very filling.

Out of all the meals, I most liked the Rich Beef Lasagne and Vegetable Cannelloni. I don't think they'd ever tell you that they taste better than what you would get at a restaurant or make at home however there is a big plus in that they also are not as calorific - there's no way I could make something like this 97% fat free and I liked the innate portion control. And I have to say that I loved the convenience and would happily keep a few beef lasagnes in my freezer for times of laziness or crisis.

I can't say that I lost any weight as I am one of those people that tends to put on weight if they eat pasta and I never eat pasta for both lunch and dinner and I was mostly given pasta meals. But it was fun so thankyou to the lovely people at Lean Cuisine and Nestle for making me your guinea pig for a week! :) .
